Cisterns

A toilet cistern is the component that stores water and releases it into the toilet pan when flushed. Cisterns are available in a variety of styles and installation types to suit different bathroom layouts and toilet designs.

Key benefits:

• Stores water ready for flushing
• Supports efficient toilet operation
• Available for a wide range of toilet installations
• Suitable for both modern and traditional bathrooms

At Envy Bathrooms, we offer a variety of cistern options designed to suit different toilet styles and installation requirements.

Common types include:

• Concealed cisterns
• Exposed cisterns
• Close coupled cisterns
• High level cisterns
• Low level cisterns

A concealed cistern is installed behind a wall, furniture unit or WC unit, hiding the cistern from view while leaving only the flush plate or control visible.

Benefits include:

• Cleaner bathroom appearance
• Reduced visible pipework
• Modern, minimalist styling
• Ideal for wall hung and back to wall toilets

The correct cistern depends on the toilet type, installation method and available space within your bathroom.
